Troopers Look to Identify Walmart Retail Theft Suspect

Pennsylvania State Police are looking to identify the suspect in a retail theft at the Walmart in Edinboro, according to Pennsylvania Crime Watch.
It happened July 26 around 3:54 p.m. at the store on Washington Towne Blvd. in Washington Township.
Investigators said the man pushed a shopping cart past the cash registers without paying for a microwave, Mountain Dew and clothing valued at $144.28.
Loss prevention stopped him at the exit, but the he attempted to push the cart through loss prevention and failed, according to troopers.
He reportedly ignored loss prevention’s request to follow them back to their office and took off in a dark colored minivan, state police said.
The suspect is described as having a larger build and being between 5’3” and 5’9” tall. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts and a blue Chicago Cubs ball hat.
