Gram Steve's White Bread

Ingredients:

2 cups water (warm--100 degrees) (456 grams)
1/2 cup milk room temperature ( 114 grams)
2 pounds flour approximately ( about 900 grams)
1Tablespoon salt ( 16 grams)
1/2 cup sugar ( 50 grams) 
1 package instant rise yeast ( 8-10 grams from jar )
1/4 cup butter softened 
1 egg beaten

Directions:

Mix ingredients and knead by hand until smooth and stretchy; by mixer with dough hook, 3 minutes on low speed and 3-5 minutes on second speed. 
Let rise in a lightly oiled bowl covered in a warm spot ( 72-78 degrees ) for one hour. Fold the dough over on itself and let rise another hour. Form loaves and let rise in loaf pans for one more hour.
Bake in a 400 degree oven 30 to 40 minutes; crust will be nicely browned and interior temperature should be 210 degrees.

Makes three loaves.
