Last week's Fit and Fun Adventure saw Missy and exploring the area around Fontana Lake in North Carolina.
The reservoir is impounded by Fontana Dam (the highest dam east of the Rocky Mountains) on the Little Tennessee River, and forms part of the southern boundary of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Some of the most remote areas of the park can only be accessed by boat on Fontana Lake.
There are hundreds of miles of trails for you to explore in this forgotten part of the Smoky Mountains National Park.
Fontana is located about an hour and a half east of Knoxville.
However, if you are looking for an adventure closer to home, then join Missy Wednesday, June 19th at 8:45am at the William Hastie Natural Area off Edgemoor Road near Oak Ridge.
