Beyonce joined the fight for marriage equality on Tuesday following the historic Supreme Court hearing regarding Prop 8, California's ban on gay marriage.
In a handwritten note on red paper, the 31-year-old star wrote, "If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it," a play on the lyrics of her massive hit "Single Ladies."
Beyonce followed the poignant words with "#WeWillUniteForMarriageEquality."
Earlier on Facebook, she wrote, "It's about TIME!!! #EQUALITY #MarryWhoYouLove," along with posting the Human Rights Campaign logo.
The fight for equality runs in Beyonce's family.
In May 2012, Jay-Z spoke out about President Obama's support of same-sex marriage, telling CNN, it was "the right thing to do."
