Second Harvest Food Bank to benefit from Color Bash 5K
On Saturday, February 23rd at 9:30am racers of all ages will gather at Lakeshore Greenway- 6410 S. Lakeshore Drive, Knoxville, TN- to participate in the NR Road Racing's Color Bash 5K. Color Stations will be set up along the scenic 3 mile course. At each color station runners will be bombarded with colorful dust, making this race a completely unique experience!
The Color Bash is family event, focused on enjoying the fun side of racing. Participants of all ages, sizes, and levels of physical endurance are encouraged come out and enjoy this race. All runners are encouraged to wear white shirts and clothing they are willing to get dirty. Cleaning stations will be provided at the end of the race.
Tickets are $40 per person, or $30 if you are in a group with a minimum of four. Children 5 years old and under are able to get in for free. Proceeds from this event will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee. For every $1 donated, Second Harvest can provide 3 meals.
